Honoring All Veterans

On Veterans Day, our Nation pays tribute to those who have proudly served in our Armed Forces.

This Veterans Day I am honoring all veterans offering and giving a 20% discount on service and a 10% discount on all computers, parts, and products until the end of November.

You already know why Veterans Day is important. On Veterans Day it is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served our country. This holiday started to reflect upon the heroism of those who died in our country’s service and was originally called Armistice Day. Armistice Day fell on Nov. 11 just like Veterans Day, because it was the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice ending World War I. Armistice Day was renamed Veterans Day in 1954 to include all veterans in all wars.

Veterans Day is a time to reflect about the men and women who have given themselves to defend our nation’s independence and protect our freedom as Americans. These incredible individuals have put themselves in harm’s way for each of us and our families. We give thanks to those who have served freedom’s cause; an those who are confronting our adversaries abroad; and we honor the men and women who left America’s shores but did not live to be thanked as veterans. Veterans Day is different from Memorial Day, a U.S. public holiday in May. Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. veterans. Memorial Day military service members who have died while in military service. Also, Armed Forces Day is a holiday in  May, which honors currently members serving in the U.S. military.

Please thank the Veterans in your lives. Their patriotism and valor are part of the reason we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. To those who are veteran, have served, and those currently serving, I salute you.
